About Me

This blog is a collection of my personal travel experiences and the stories behind them. I write about the places I’ve visited and the things I’ve seen, sharing my honest perspectives without any influence from businesses or compensation for my opinions.

A bit about me: I’m retired, which has given me the freedom to travel more than ever before. Exploring new places has always been a passion, but now I embrace it fully. My journeys take me across the United States and to international destinations. I enjoy both cruises and independent land trips, always preferring to explore at my own pace. I’ve traveled with family and friends, on trips of varying lengths and during different seasons.

I’m also a cancer survivor since 2011, a milestone that has shaped my appreciation for life’s adventures. Originally from Lockport, New York, in the Buffalo area, I’ve called Wisconsin home for most of my adult life. My career was spent teaching elementary music, a role that brought joy and creativity to my days. I’m a proud fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Buffalo Bills, cheering them on whenever I can.
